These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and ITCurves (“ITCurves,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) for your use of Convoy Connect (“Convoy,” “the App”). They act as the end user license agreement (EULA) for the App.

You must read and accept these Terms before you create an account or sign in. If you do not agree, do not use Convoy.

1. Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content and Abusive Users

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on Convoy. When we confirm a violation, we remove the content and remove the person responsible from Convoy, and they may not create a new account.

You must not post, share, say, or send anything through Convoy — in your profile, photos, meetup details, connection requests, or calls — that:

  • Harasses, bullies, threatens, intimidates, or abuses another person
  • Is hateful or discriminatory toward anyone based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic
  • Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or sexually suggestive, or involves minors in any way
  • Promotes or depicts violence, self-harm, terrorism, or illegal activity, including illegal drugs and weapons
  • Is spam, a scam, fraud, or an attempt to collect other users’ personal or financial information
  • Impersonates another person, company, or authority, or misrepresents who you are
  • Shares another person’s private information (such as their home address or location) without their permission
  • Infringes anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
  • Is otherwise offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate for a general audience

You also must not use Convoy to stalk or track another person, to arrange to meet someone in order to harm them, or to disrupt calls, meetups, or the service itself.

2. Eligibility and Your Account

  • You must be at least 17 years old to use Convoy.
  • The information you provide when registering must be accurate, and you must keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account.
  • You may have only one account. Accounts may not be shared, sold, or transferred.

3. Your Content

“Your content” means anything you add to Convoy, including your name, profile photo, CB handle, company and truck details, meetup titles, descriptions, and locations, and anything you say on calls. You keep ownership of your content, and you are responsible for it.

By adding content to Convoy, you give ITCurves a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and transmit it as needed to operate Convoy — for example, to show your profile to the drivers you connect with. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must keep it for legal, safety, or moderation reasons.

4. How We Filter Objectionable Content

We screen content added to Convoy, such as names, CB handles, profile details, and meetup details, for objectionable material, and we may block content from being posted, or remove it, when it breaks these Terms. We also review content that users report to us. We may remove any content, at any time, that we believe breaks these Terms, without notice.

5. Reporting Objectionable Content and Abusive Users

If you see content or behavior that breaks these Terms, report it in the App. You can report a user from their profile, from a call, or from a meetup by choosing Report and picking a reason:

  • Harassment or abuse
  • Inappropriate behavior or content
  • Spam or scam
  • Fake profile or impersonation
  • Something else

Reports are sent to the ITCurves team. The person you report is not told who reported them. You can also report a problem by emailing [email protected].

6. Blocking Abusive Users

You can block any user from their profile, a call, or a meetup by choosing Block. Blocking takes effect immediately:

  • The blocked user is removed from your feed and no longer appears anywhere in Convoy for you — including nearby drivers, search, your connections, and meetups — and you no longer appear for them.
  • They can no longer call you, send you connection requests, or invite you to meetups, and any existing connection between you is removed.
  • Blocking also notifies the ITCurves team, so we can review the blocked user’s content and behavior.

You can see and unblock the people you have blocked in Settings → Blocked users.

7. How We Act on Reports

We review every report and every block. We act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours. When we confirm a violation, we:

  • Remove the offending content from Convoy; and
  • Remove (eject) the user who provided the offending content by suspending or permanently terminating their account.

Where content suggests someone may be in danger, or may involve a crime, we may also share it with law enforcement.

8. Calls, Meetups, and Your Safety

Convoy helps you connect and meet up with other drivers, but we do not screen or verify users, and we are not responsible for what other users say or do, on or off the App. Use good judgment: meet in public places, tell someone where you are going, and never share information you are not comfortable sharing. Never use Convoy in a way that distracts you while driving — follow all traffic laws and your employer’s policies.

9. Location

Some features, such as nearby drivers and meetups, use your device’s location. You choose whether to allow location access and whether you are available to others, and you can turn these off at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle location and other information.

10. License to Use the App

ITCurves grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Convoy on devices you own or control, in line with these Terms. You must not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the App, interfere with its security, or access it by automated means.

11. Ending Your Use

You can stop using Convoy and delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your account, without notice, if you break these Terms or if we need to in order to protect other users, ITCurves, or the service.

12. Disclaimers

Convoy is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, error-free, or secure, that calls will always connect, or that location information will be accurate.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ITCurves is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of Convoy, from content provided by other users, or from your interactions with other users, on or off the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to Convoy is limited to US $100.

14. App Store Terms

If you downloaded Convoy from the Apple App Store:

  • These Terms are between you and ITCurves only, not Apple. ITCurves, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App.
  • If the App fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App.
  • ITCurves, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection claims.
  • ITCurves, not Apple, is responsible for investigating and resolving any claim that the App infringes a third party’s intellectual property rights.
  • You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

If you downloaded Convoy from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or Convoy will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above, and where required we will ask you to accept the updated Terms in the App. Continued use of Convoy after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
